Roger J. Dodd

Previously both a Board Certified Criminal Trial Specialist for 20 years and Civil Trial Specialist for more than 20 years, trial attorney Roger J. Dodd has represented clients in legal matters since 1976. He has been a lecturer, expert witness, or teacher in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Russia, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, and various Caribbean locations.

Roger J. Dodd has been sharing his methodologies agenda and expertise in Cross-Examination and trial skills for over four decades with over 100,000 lawyers from all over the world. His popular 2-day Trial Skills Clinics offer small group training for lawyers in multiple locations across the United States. More and more, participants from the various teaching modalities asked for either co-counseling of cases or specific coaching, which evolved into one-on-one coaching individualized to the specific lawyer and/or specific case.

Roger J. Dodd is a frequent guest and commentator on television programs, including Court TV, Good Morning America, and Geraldo at Large. He is the author or coauthor of dozens of articles and multiple books, including "Cross-Examination: Science and Techniques" and "Cross-Examination for Depositions." He is one of a select group of attorneys to receive the distinguished Super Lawyer rating in multiple states.

Roger J. Dodd was admitted to practice law in Georgia (1976), Florida (1997), Utah (2011), Oklahoma (2018), and Montana (2019). He is also admitted to all applicable state and U.S. Courts, the Armed Forces Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is an advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocacy (ABOTA).
